Radiography,
or as it is commonly known, an X-ray, is the oldest and most frequently
used form of spinal imaging. Discovered in 1895, X-rays can produce diagnostic
images of the human body on film.
X-ray imaging is the fastest and
easiest way for a chiropractor to view and assess spinal alignment and
structure. X-rays are often recommended following trauma sustained by a
patient.
X-ray images can also be used to
diagnose and monitor the progression of degenerative diseases, such as
osteoarthritis. In addition, severe osteopenia, which is one of the benchmark
characteristics of osteoporosis, can be visualized on X-ray.
X-ray facilities are proudly offered
in our Pleasant Valley and Kingston offices. |
